28 Wonderful Years Together!

Wow! 28 years ago today I was kneeling across the alter looking into the beautiful, gentle eyes of someone who I thought I could not possibly love more! HA! That was just puppy love Ü compared to the love that I feel, 2 wonderful boys, a gorgeous daughter-in-law, two beautiful grandbabies, and 28 years later! I have been sooo blessed to be married to "one of the good ones"! Ü

What a blessing to go into the temple as Marchelle Brox and come out Marchelle Aird! Whodda thunk that I could possibly move UP in the alphabet when I was a "B" already, I mean what are the odds, really? Ü But since that day things have continued to go UP in my life because I have such a wonderful husband, companion and friend by my side! There is nothing better in this life than that!

Thanks, my little Johnsley for always taking care of me and always putting our family first! I didn't know how it could be possible but I love you even more today than I did 28 years ago! Thank you for being such a wonderful husband! Here's to the next 28 years together! 1-2-3! Ü

A Little About The Airds

Welcome to the Aird Family Blog! Come on in and sit a spell, we are basically just some down to earth folks that love, God, family, and all our good friends, we like food once in a while too, which we might just happen to talk about on here from time to time too! You know, Share recipes, that kind of stuff! I have recently discovered some of the best spices in the world, so if you're nice I will share those with you too! ˚Ü˚ Here is a little bit about our family! I, Marchelle, and mom of the fam, love anything that has to do with computers, so it will be me who does the updating of this blog, although John is my proof reader so if there are mistakes, it's HIS fault! ˚Ü˚ Who's John? Well, John is THEE best husband and father in the whole world! Yup! He Sure is! We have two wonderful boys, Brock, and Bryson, and we also have a beautiful daughter-in-law, Aryann, who is the BEST mother to our Grandson Hunter! Who I must say, is the cutest baby on the planet!! ˚Ü˚ Ummmhum, he sure is!! And I'm sure he is the smartest too! ˚Ü˚We also have the cutest little puppy on the whole planet too! She is a little shitsu, (ya ok, I know that's not the right spelling but my proof reader is in bed) Terrier Mix, She brings us lots of joy and laughter! ...So how can we have such a perfect family........Just lucky I guess! Ü Well, that's the Airds in a nut shell, I'm sure you will learn a lot more about us as the blog progresses, maybe even more than you wanted to know! OH! ˚Ü˚

FAVORITE RECIPE OF THE WEEK!

Roasted Red Bell Pepper Bruschetta

SERVINGS: 8

INGREDIENTS:

1 loaf French bread, sliced on the diagonal
Wildtree Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil
1/3 cup Wildtree Roasted Red Bell Pepper Blend
1/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup Wildtree Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil

PREPARATION:

Brush the bread slices with Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Combine the Roasted Red Bell Pepper Pesto Blend with the warm water in a bowl and mix well. Add 1/4 cup Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil and mix well, adding additional oil if necessary to reach the desired consistency. Spread on the toasted bread slices.

Serve with Parmesan cheese shavings. You may substitute Wildtree Natural Grapeseed Oil for the Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil if desired.

Cream Cheese Squares

SERVINGS: 12

INGREDIENTS:

2 (8-count) packages crescent rolls
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 (.8-ounce) package Wildtree Pumpkin Cheesecake Blend
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons milk
Dash of vanilla extract

PREPARATION:

Layer 1 package of crescent rolls in a 9x13-inch glass baking dish, pressing the edges together to form 1 layer. Combine half the cream cheese with the Pumpkin Cheesecake Blend and sugar in a bowl and mix until blended. Spread over the crescent roll layer. Spread with the remaining cream cheese. Top with the remaining crescent rolls, pressing the edges together to form the top layer.

Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Combine the confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla in a bowl and mix well. Drizzle over the warm baked layer. Cut into squares.

WILDTREE TIP: This recipe can be made with any of the Wildtree Cheesecake Blends.
